LinkedIn recommendations from people who worked with me directly — May 2026.

I managed Márcio at Cloudflare. He's the kind of writer who is constantly pushing the envelope for what a technical writer can do. He knew his products like the back of his hand (Magic Transit, Cloudflare WAN, Cloudflare One, etc.) and he was always hunting for the gap between what the docs covered and what customers actually needed. He developed troubleshooting guides informed by real support data, concept pages that filled holes teams had been working around, decision trees that replaced docs nobody could navigate, and so much more.

What set him apart was how he thought about the work around the writing. He built a full AI toolkit (agents, skills, custom commands) that connected MCP servers, documentation sources, and GitHub into workflows that let writers move through research, drafting, and publishing dramatically faster. Márcio could've kept all these tools to himself, but he didn't. He shared them with the team and kept refining the system so it got smarter over time, fixing underlying rules instead of one-off outputs so every improvement compounded for the next person who used it. Word got around, and other teams at Cloudflare started asking for their own version. So he built a customizable toolkit and demoed it for designers and product managers, adapting it to fit how they worked.

Márcio also had a sharp editorial eye for when AI-assisted content needed a human hand. He knew when the framing was too marketing-heavy, when the language assumed too much of the reader, when a page needed context instead of just configuration steps. The tooling handled the mechanics so he could focus on the judgment calls that actually matter.

On top of all of that, he's a genuinely warm, fun person to work alongside. Proactive, reliable, and completely unfazed by ambiguity. I'd work with Márcio again without hesitation.

Docs, data, and community | Write the Docs Organizer | Ex-Cloudflare

Direct manager at Cloudflare

I worked with Márcio at Cloudflare, and he's truly fantastic. He's proactive (for every feature I built, he asked about documentation needs before it even crossed my mind), he's organized (he kept careful track of release dates, making sure a new feature's docs were ready the moment we enabled it, but also not published prematurely if a release was delayed last-minute), and he's very good at quickly learning new tech all across our product suite, pointing out when the raw material we gave him as input was incomplete or incorrect, or when we should reorganize a whole product line's docs as it evolves.

Márcio also invented workflows to use LLMs for large docs refactors that would have been tedious and error prone by hand, and he blogged and presented these techniques when AI adoption internally was nascent so others could learn how to automate tedious parts of their own workflows.

(And to top it all off: he's one of the kindest people I've worked with — you want him on your team!)

Márcio and I worked together at Cloudflare, where he consistently set a high bar for proactive technical writing. He proactively used Customer Support reporting to improve the troubleshooting documentation for Magic Transit and Cloudflare WAN, which reduced friction for customers and the engineers supporting them. He was also one of the earliest adopters of AI, pioneering approaches that the broader team has built on since. Márcio was genuinely invested in the customer experience, and is the kind of writer that makes any team better.

Marcio and I worked together at Cloudflare while I was a Product Manager. He modernized our docs engineering by implementing partials and AI-based tooling for consistency, content, and illustration. He was a fantastic content partner, managing our release schedule with the pace of feature work.

I really enjoyed working with Marcio and highly recommend him.

Got technical content? Getting hammered by your boss to "just use AI"?

Soon agents will be the default way that your content gets consumed and you need to start planning for that reality. Get ahead by hiring Márcio to join your ranks!

Márcio was literally at the forefront of designing AI workflows for the Cloudflare developer documentation, helping it become the world class asset it is today.

You could try winging it (wasting precious time), but you'll get further ahead by bringing in Márcio to guide you!
